Real Salt Lake-Sporting Kansas City Preview

Though Real Salt Lake is in position to open with three straight road shutouts for the first time in club history, perhaps its greatest challenge Saturday night is finding a way to score in a place where it rarely does in a matchup with Sporting Kansas City. RSL (2-0-2), which went 12 matches without a defeat to open 2014, continued its latest strong start with a 1-0 victory at San Jose on Sunday. "I really like that we've had two shutouts on the road," coach Jeff Cassar said. "We're going to have to continue that mentality." After opening with a scoreless draw at Portland, RSL has totaled six goals from five players.
